Tu has been practicing in the field of Pediatric Occupational Therapy for over 20 years. Tu discovered her true passion in pediatrics early on and has been working with children ever since her graduation. She has vast experience assessing and treating children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and various other conditions. Tu has experience working with pre- and school-aged children in different pediatric settings including various school systems, private clinics and home-based intervention.
She has specialized in Sensory Integration, Neuro Developmental Techniques, Handwriting Without Tears (HWT), Integrated Listening Systems (iLS) multi sensory program, The Therapeutic Listening, Feeding, and Floortime, and has completed certificates in the SOS (Sequential Oral Sensory) Approach, Brain Connex Therapy, and Primitive Reflex and Brain Therapy.
Tu enjoys spending time with her son outside of work. Tu feels that becoming a mother herself has helped her to become a better therapist, to make recommendations that are realistic and with achievable goals in a household dynamic.
